1.) A term that describes joint distribution operations boundaries, which begin at the point of origin and terminate at the geographic combatant commanders designated point of need within a desired operational area, including the return of forces and materiel.
In the United States, military vocabulary is standardized by the Department of Defence. These terms are used by the United States Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marine Corps.
