1.) The amount of personnel, spares, resources, and capabilities physically present and occupying space at a deployed location.

2.) The area on the surface of the earth within a satellite's transmitter or sensor field of view.

In the United States, military vocabulary is standardized by the Department of Defence. These terms are used by the United States Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marine Corps.
